"It's Not Easy Always Being Green"

Looking closely, it’s just grass that has grown—some of it is green, some of it taller, and some of it is a little burnt by the sun.
Sometimes as Catholics, we can feel exactly the same as a blade of grass. We experience seasons of being nurtured and thriving, but we also face seasons of feeling wounded, dry, and hurt.
But we don't have to stay scorched by the world.
When we enter Holy Mass, we bring our whole selves to the altar—our growth, our joys, and our deeply burnt places. In the Holy Eucharist, Jesus doesn't demand a perfect, pristine soul. Instead, He offers us His True Presence as the ultimate nourishment. He heals our wounds, refreshes our spirits, and gives us the grace to keep growing.
No matter what condition your "blade of grass" is in today, come to the Lord with an open and repentant heart. Let Him feed you.
Not with the belief that you are a victim, but stand tall, look up - rooted and grounded in the love of Jesus poured out through the cross. Be firmly convicted of your belovedness in the Father’s eyes.
HE MADE THE MOON FOR YOU! THE SUNRISE FOR YOU!
Look up, child, and see that the Lord loves you and does not want you to be overtaken.
Trust Him to lead you in the way you should go and not turn from you.
